Jose Paulino Medeiros, also known as Joe, Joey, Zeppi, and Bosadi just to name a few nicknames, 45, of Chandler Ave., Pawtucket, died Sunday. He was born and raised in Pawtucket. Joe has lived in Lincoln, as well as, the woods of North Smithfield where he loved to four wheel with his family.
Joe loved so many and has been loved by many. He was a Son, a Brother, a Father, a Vavo, a Husband for many years, an Uncle, a Padrinho, and a Friend to many. He leaves on this earth his parents, Maria and Jose De Medeiros; his sister, Debbie Pratas; his children, Shanice and Jose Medeiros Jr.; their mother, Elizabeth Medeiros; and his granddaughter, Lyla (to him lala) Medeiros. He also leaves behind his nieces, Jenell Perry and Lizzie DaCruz; his nephews, RJ and Ryan Pratas, Dejon DaGraca, Ramses Brooks, Zakai Anderson, Johan Vlek, Elvis Fortes, and Joshua Santos. He leaves behind many god children and friends including his "brother from another mother" Brando Baptista.
Joe worked in the automotive industry. He was excellent at what he did. He loved building custom motorcycles, especially, Harley Davidsons and doing custom paint jobs. He was an artist in his field; "Pawtucket's Finest".
Joe loved almost anything with a motor and wheels, he loved the History channel, the Discovery channel, and anything Chip Foose. He loved to crack jokes, play pranks, and laugh as much as possible.
Joe was a crazy, fun, energetic, and loving man who was always willing to help whoever he came into contact with. His kids, granddaughter, family, and friends were his world.
-"It's my birthday can I get a hug!?"
His funeral will begin at 8:30am (Please arrive by 9:00am) on Monday, June 24th from Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket.
